classyy-not-trashyy-deactivated asked: I can't believe people say cheerleading isn't a sport. Maybe saying the cheers on the sideline isn't. But when it comes to all-star, it kicks ass. I'd like to see little boys with pads on them try half the things we do for 3+ hours. Freaking no.. I've played football before (for fun, of course) and I got tackled and everything, and being sore hurts just as much. and i'm not counting when we get kicked, slapped, and punched in the face, arms, ect. Cheerleading is so amazing; it changed my life and I don't know what I would do without it.
Oh my god I love this and totally relate.
cheerleading was literally a life saver for me, I have no idea where I would be with it and the people and coaches I know. It’s definitely so much more than a sport.
